• KWFM sponsors a Kite Flying Contest and Rock Concert in the Rillito River bed. The party attracts hundreds of Tucsonians and lasts over seven hours.

  October 3rd

• Hippies on Tour — The Farm Community, led by founder Stephen Gaskin, rolls into Tucson stopping by the KWFM studios.
