I was a frequent flyer between France and the US much of the 90's.
Everytime I boarded the plane, I checked the seat pocket anxiously to
see whether it was a DC-10 (or MD-11... it's the same thing)... and of
course, I thought of this song, heard exclusively on KWFM. Thanks for
that one, Dave! — Tim

Every bit as avant garde as Mr. Zappa, Bob Cooke spun this disco bashing
tune after announcing a "first" on KWFM : a cut from a recent Bee Gees
album. The later was ceremoniously destroyed, the diamond noisily
raked across the vinyl. — Tim
Jul 27, 16Tom Petty and the HeartbreakersDon't Bring Me Down

This was a rare live recording, and it was played somewhere around 1979
to 1980. Memorable cover of this classic song. — Debbie

I remember hearing this once or twice around Christmas or New Year's,
maybe in 1978. It just goes with the season so well! — Tim

Only one of many great songs by the Chaps. Shall I do one of these for
every one I remember? — John W. George

this song was played often weekdays about 7 a.m., about 10 minutes long,
was a soundtrack to getting ready to go to school. I figured the DJ had
to go to the bathroom, so played a long number to give themselves time
to do so. — K Chess
