Nina Joy

Nina Joy rocked Arizona on KWFM & KDKB. As one of the early female rock radio air talents, her distinctive style quickly garnered her a faithful following and earned her the status of "radio legend."

Janie Snyder acknowledges Nina as an important influence in rock radio. "Nina! She was my role model. She blew me away one day when she said, 'The last four hours have been brought to you in the nude... but you missed it!'

We caught up with Nina in New Mexico recently. She's doing well and promises to cough up some trivia and maybe even some old reels of her shows. Excellent.
