Matt Siegel

Originator of the "Mr. Zip" campaign; also has the distinction of being the most listened to jock since Pop McHale died. His favorite color is avacado, but only on refrigerators.

For over twenty years, Mr. Siegel has hosted "Matty In The Morning", on WXKS, aka "KISS 108" in Boston. He recently received "Personality of the Year" at the National Association Of Broadcasters' Marconi Awards.

His WXKS bio page lists his 5 year gig at KWFM, describing our favorite rock station as "a radical underground progressive rock station".

When asked about his tenure at KWFM, Matt chuckled "My fondest memory of KWFM was making $80 per week doing morning drive. I'm happy to report I'm doing a little bit better now.... Now that I think about it, maybe I'll retire to Tucson. Do you think I could still get $80 a week?"

Lee Dombrowski sums it up, "To say the least Mattie is making more than the $80.00 per week! As one of the most gifted broadcasters in America Matt's genius and on air audience relatability have made him a household name in New England."
