Jim Owens

When at last it was time to move on, Jim left KWFM to become program director at Sandusky's KLSY in Kansas City. As Lee Dombrowski recalls, "At KLSY, Jim developed one of the most successful female-oriented formats in many years." After five years in KC, Jim then brought his expertise to San Antonio where he worked three years before moving back to his home town of Detroit. Jim was the sales manager at Z-ROCK until his death in 2001.
