41-52. AFAIK, first, and only, lists of Sure Shots. (I’m assuming these are
in numerical order.) Several notable songs. “Bring It On Home To Me” is 
probably Floyd’s best known song. “Cycles” & “Les Bicyclettes…” are 2 of my 
favorite MOR songs. But #52 is truly historic. (In addition to being 
Biblical characters.) Some guy named Pete Samson. The other named Sammy 
Hagar. Interestingly, the (Nashville) Tennessean listed this song as a “Best 
Bet” on one of their Top 10s. I do not believe it charted on Billboard or 
Cashbox.
The mimeographed survey Feb. 12, 1969 lists 10 Extras, but, just like 
unicorns, after this week, “you’re never gonna see no ‘Sure Shots’ ”.
