25. It was to be the first Mark Lindsay solo 45 (no other Raider was
involved in its recording), until Paul Revere (don’t google his full name) 
criss-crossed the country promoting it. Marvin Rainwater recorded it in ’59, 
but only crickets noticed. Roy Acuff *JR* in ’67. Don Fardon had the first 
hit version in ’68.
