NOTE: this chart first appeared in the 12/22/78 edition of Radio & Records 
magazine.  Prior to January 1979, B-100 FM charts were issued with a date of
fourteen days after appearing in R&R, under the pre-1979 format this survey
would have been dated 1/5/79.  I do not know if this chart was issued to the
public but it just seemed more logical to use a December 1978 date for this 
chart than a January 1979 one, hence the 12/31/78 date.  Also, there is no
continuity between this chart and the first B-100 FM survey of 1979 (1/8/79),
so I did not consider using 1/1/79 for the date of this chart.
