The top ten singles were heard on a Friday afternoon
broadcast; CJBC (a CBC affiliate) did not normally play
this type of material throughout the rest of the
programming week.
On Fridays in 1957, the Toronto Telegram printed a weekly,
DJ-picked, Top Ten list from CJBC, with the DJ changing
each week. The album list is from this source, and again
does not represent overall programming on CJBC.
