SPECIAL NOTES:
Again this week, and for The third time time (fifth week) in
it's Top 40 History, there is no #1 on WABC's Chart! This time,
there is also no #2! Speculation is that this week's #1 is either
"I Love Rock 'n' Roll" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts or "Centerfold"
by the J. Geils Band. Whichever one Is #1, the other would be #2.
Neither song was ever played by WABC as it had softened it's format
to a more Adult Contemporary sound by early 1982.
Since WABC has discontinued distributing dated "street surveys," and
mailing surveys to those requesting them, the appropriate number of days
have been added to this and all remaining dates of the musicradio77.com
website WABC surveys in order to maintain the date continuity of the
previous WABC surveys contained in the ARSA database.
